I am a grown adult who does not know how to ride a bike and am DETERMINED to learn. I did learn as a child but seem to have forgotten (proving the old adage wrong). I welcome all tips on how to survive while cycling. I am generally okay when there is an open expanse in front of me, but as soon as I see another human/car/biker it all goes to shit. I plan on taking out my new (used) bike every evening to practice but would love some practical advice for getting over my nerves.

My formerly curly hair has gone haywire postpartum (likely hormones) and now certain parts are stick straight while others are curly. 🤦🏻‍♀️ It’s currently in a long bob and is quite thick but the individual strands are fine. Any recs for clips to use for those pesky pieces that fall out from underneath your ponytail? Bobby pins do not work. Also, despite being less curly, it does still poof up in humidity. Would love tips for how to manage this (beyond the typically curly girl method stuff - I’ve tried it. My hair does not like it).
